Fieldwork (2022) is a research project that unravels at the intersection of deinstitutionalised care work [feral medicine], collaborative performance work and community building. The project aims to unfold a practice of “care-full choreography”; a practice that understands how inter-personalized care can be scored, danced and collectively experienced within live performance.
Fieldwork is a critique of the way western institutions delegate the responsibility—and thus regulate the practices—of caregiving in western societies. The project offers its participants an experience of being co-creators of healing encounters and thus engages with the urgent task of decentralising care.
